What is a digital restroom cleaning log?
It replaces the paper sheet on the back of the door. Each restroom or area gets a printed QR sign. Staff scan it with their phone, tick the checklist, and sign off with their employee ID and PIN. Every sign-off is stored with a server timestamp you can review and export.
Do cleaners need to download an app?
No. The QR code opens a mobile web page in the phone's browser. Cleaners only need their employee ID and personal PIN.
How do you stop people signing off for someone else?
An employee ID alone is not enough. Each cleaner has a private 4–8 digit PIN that is verified on our server, stored only as a salted hash, and protected by rate limits on wrong attempts. You can disable a cleaner or reset a PIN at any time.
Is this proof that cleaning happened?
No. Check-ins are self-attested by your staff. CleanLog QR gives you a consistent, time-stamped record, but it is not independent verification and does not guarantee compliance with any regulation or inspection standard.
